In the early 1990’s, Mr. Anderson had a vision to bring new homes, parks, neighborhood shopping, and educational opportunities to the Southwest side of Los Banos. Since then, the Anderson family donated the school site to Merced Community College, developed the site of the Creekside Junior High School, brought retailers like Target to Los Banos at Stonecreek Plaza, created a mix of housing styles, and developed numerous parks and play areas such as Oliveira Park.
