Do I need a real estate agent to purchase a new home?
No, you do not need a real estate agent to purchase a new home from Anderson Homes. Our New Home Consultants are very knowledgeable and will guide you through your journey from selecting your new Anderson Home to moving in.
If I have a real estate agent, does he or she need to visit the community with me?
Yes, if you choose to work with a real estate agent, your agent is required to accompany and register with you during your first visit to our sales office to be eligible for a broker referral fee.
Should I be preapproved with a lender before viewing the model homes?
While it is not required to be preapproved with a lender to view the model homes, a loan preapproval is required to reserve a home. We have a preferred lender on site every weekend who can assist you with the preapproval process.
Do I need an appointment to visit the model homes?
Yes, you will need an appointment. Our model homes are currently open by appointment only.
Can I bring my kids to my appointment?
No, individuals under 18 years of age are currently not allowed in our model homes.
Can I choose the exterior color of my new home?
No, the exterior colors are chosen by a designer well in advance of the purchase of your home to ensure each neighborhood is unique.
How long will it take for my new home to be built?
While the time can vary due to weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances, most homes are completed six to seven months after the foundation has been poured.
How can I be notified of the next release in my preferred community?
At the top of any page on our website, you can click on the red “Join Interest List” tab. Complete the form and submit to receive updates.
Do any of your communities have HOA fees?
None of our communities are in a homeowners association. Therefore, there are no HOA fees.
Am I required to purchase solar on a new home?
Solar is now required in newly constructed homes in California. Purchase and lease options for solar are available. Our new home consultants can provide additional information.
Am I able to visit my home while it is under construction?
Not without an appointment. Because a construction site can often be a dangerous place, you are prohibited from entering the property prior to the Close of Escrow without an authorized representative of Anderson Homes with you at all times.
